My name is Kristina Ellis and I am the founder of Simply Me W/Kris. I am in my 40's and finally becoming comfortable in my skin and embracing who I am authentically. I wear many hats as most of us do but in this season of life I'm reclaiming the importance of my role to myself. I am a recovering self shaming, mask wearing, and people pleasing addict. The key word I want you to focus on is "recovering" which means every day I continue this journey of self development. My journey has been beautiful even when the hurdles arise. Every hurdle comes with a lesson and every lesson presents opportunity for growth. Through my self discovery in my journey I confirmed my love for helping others and living a life that's impactful demonstrating support. This discovery led me to becoming a certified Life Coach specializing in Confidence Building. I want to partner with you and others, offering support as you continue your journey towards living intentionally, authentically and embracing confidence! You are not in this alone!
For most of my life I struggled with confidence and self-esteem issues as a mom, wife, friend, business owner, sister, daughter and all the roles I held in my life. These feelings were caused by various factors, such as negative experiences, upbringing, societal pressures and personal beliefs. Through prayer, support and effort, in time I learned how to overcome these feelings. I took the steps to build my confidence and self-esteem through my personal development journey. Support holds a different meaning in each persons life. It could mean seeing a therapist, hiring a coach, repeating affirmations, practicing self-care and so much more. Whatever support means to you, I hope you find this space as one of safety, love and support.
Change doesn't happen overnight but with support your journey could lead you to the same results, walking in confidence and loving the skin you are in! I am so happy you are here and I hope you find my story and the tools I share impactful. You are worthy of love, anything is possible if you believe, and you owe it to yourself to become everything you've ever dreamed of being.
Believing in yourself is a crucial aspect of building self-confidence and self-esteem. When you believe in yourself, you have a positive outlook on your abilities, skills, and potential to succeed. One way to start believing in yourself is to acknowledge your strengths and achievements. Take time to reflect on your accomplishments, no matter how small they may seem. Celebrate your successes and give yourself credit for your hard work and effort. Additionally, it can be helpful to challenge negative thoughts and self-doubt by replacing them with positive affirmations. Remember, building self belief is an ongoing process that requires patience, perseverance, and self-compassion. When you believe in yourself you can overcome obstacles, take risks, and achieve your goals with greater confidence and resilience. - Simply Me Kris
Loving yourself is an essential part of maintaining good mental health and emotional health. When you love yourself, you accept and appreciate yourself for who you are, including your strengths, weaknesses, and imperfections. It is important to remember that self-love is not selfish or arrogant. Rather, it's a heathy practice that allows you to prioritize your well-being and establish healthy relationships with others.
Practicing self-love may involve time to yourself, engaging in activities that bring you joy, setting healthy boundaries, and practicing self-compassion. It may also involve forgiving yourself for past mistakes and embracing your unique qualities. This process does't happen overnight and requires patience and a willingness to prioritizing your well-being. When you love yourself, you can cultivate a greater sense of happiness, fulfillment, and inner peace. - Simply Me Kris
